What Cookies Are, and What We Actually Use
In plain English · Small files and similar storage. We use few, and we list all of them.
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser so it can recognize the browser later. This policy also covers technologies that do the same job: localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, and SDK identifiers. We call all of it cookies here for readability.
Cookies set by printpire.com are first-party. Cookies set by a service we embed, such as an analytics or advertising platform, are third-party and are also governed by that provider's own policy.

Strictly Necessary
In plain English · Cart, checkout, sign-in, language, security. Cannot be switched off.
These make the store function. They are set because you asked for a service that cannot be delivered without them, so they do not require consent and there is no toggle for them.
| Purpose | What it stores | How long |
|---|
| Cart | Your cart identifier so items persist between pages and visits | Up to 30 days |
| Checkout | Step state, selected shipping and discount, so a refresh does not lose your order | Session |

| Language | Whether you chose English or Spanish | 1 year |
| Cookie choice | The preferences you set on this page, and when you set them | 1 year |
| Security | Rate limiting, bot detection, and abuse prevention on public endpoints | Session to 24 hours |
| Load balancing | Routing your requests consistently while you browse | Session |

Analytics
In plain English · How many people came, which pages broke. Aggregate only, no profiling.
Analytics tells us that a page is slow, that a step in checkout loses people, or that a product nobody could find is now being found. It is how the site gets less annoying over time.
| Provider | What it does | How long |
|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Counts visits, pages, referrers, and completed purchases in aggregate. Google's policy | Up to 2 years, we retain reports for up to 26 months |
| Error and performance monitoring | Records crashes and slow pages so we can fix them. May include a technical identifier | 90 days |

What analytics is not
We do not use analytics to build a profile of you, to price differently, to decide whether to serve you, or to sell anything about you. See Section 12 of our Privacy Policy.

Advertising
In plain English · Measures which ads led to a sale, and shows our ads elsewhere. Fully optional.
These let us find out whether an ad we paid for actually produced an order, and let us show PrintPire ads to people on Google and Meta. If you turn this off, you will still see ads on the internet, they will just be less related to us.
| Provider | What it does | How long |
|---|
| Google Ads and Merchant Center | Conversion measurement for Shopping listings and paid search. Google's policy | Up to 2 years |
| Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) | Conversion measurement and audience building. Meta's policy | Up to 90 days per event, platform-side retention varies |

Where we send conversion data to an ad platform we send hashed identifiers and the fact of a purchase. We do not send your artwork, your order contents, or your payment details. We do not consider this a sale of personal information, and we honor a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out from it regardless.
You can also opt out at the industry level through the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool and YourAdChoices, and in your Google and Meta ad settings directly.

Global Privacy Control and Browser Settings
In plain English · We honor GPC. We do not honor Do Not Track, because it never got a standard.
Global Privacy Control
We honor GPC. If your browser or extension sends the signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser, as California, Colorado, Connecticut and other state laws require. The preference center above shows when GPC is doing the deciding.
Do Not Track
There is still no agreed standard for how a site should respond to the older "Do Not Track" header, and responses to it are inconsistent across the industry, so we do not act on it. GPC, above, is the signal that works.
Your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and block third-party cookies specifically. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the cart and checkout. Clearing your cookies also clears the preference you set on this page, so you will be asked again.

Children
In plain English · Not for under-13s, and we never knowingly advertise to under-16s.
Our site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly set analytics or advertising cookies for anyone we know to be under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. See our Privacy Policy.

Changes and Contact
In plain English · We date every revision. Questions go to privacy@printpire.com.
When we add or remove a provider we update this page and change the version at the top. Where a change materially expands what we collect, we will ask you again rather than assume your previous answer covers it.
