What are uncoated business cards?
Cards printed on paper with no gloss, matte or UV coating on top. The surface has no glare, takes pen and pencil, and feels like paper rather than a coated card.
Can I write on uncoated business cards?
Yes. With no coating, ballpoint pens and pencils write cleanly on both sides, which is why offices use them as appointment cards.
What is the difference between white and natural?
White is a 14pt white uncoated stock. Natural is a 14pt light cream stock with a smooth finish and at least 30% post-consumer recycled content. Natural costs a little more and goes up to 1,000 cards.
Do colors look different on uncoated paper?
A little softer. Uncoated paper soaks up more ink than coated card, so colors print a bit less vivid than on gloss. Bold colors and clear type print best.
