Are these business cards really waterproof?
The synthetic stock does not absorb water and the inks are cured with UV light, so the cards survive rain, spills and wet hands. Wipe them dry and they look the same. They are not meant to soak for days or to be scrubbed with solvents.
How are waterproof cards different from plastic business cards?
Plastic cards are 20pt, stiff and cut with rounded corners. Waterproof cards are a thin 10pt synthetic that feels close to paper, costs much less and still shrugs off water.
Can I write on waterproof business cards?
Yes, with a permanent marker or a pencil. Water-based pens bead up on the surface.
How long do waterproof business cards take?
The synthetic stock is printed on its own schedule: cards ship in about 11 business days after you approve your proof. Express and Rush are not available.
How much do waterproof business cards cost?
