Linen business cards
Linen business cards are printed on 100lb uncoated cover stock pressed with a fine crosshatch, the same texture found on good letterhead and wedding stationery. Linen business cards, also called textured or linen finish business cards, suit attorneys, accountants, architects and anyone who wants a classic, understated card. The uncoated surface takes ink and handwriting naturally.
From $78 for 100 cards
100lb · textured linenFine horizontal and vertical lines run across the whole card. Tilt it toward a window and the weave appears. Held flat, it reads as a quiet matte surface.
Linen is a long-standing choice for office stationery, so the card looks at home next to letters, folders and envelopes on the same texture.
With no coating, pens, pencils and rubber stamps all work. Jot a direct line on the back or a follow-up date while the meeting is still going.
Best for: Law offices, financial advisors, architects and stationery-minded small businesses.

The details make the difference

Linen is one kind of textured card. The name comes from the woven crosshatch pressed into the paper, which looks like linen cloth. Felt and laid are other textures, and we do not carry them. If someone asks for a textured or linen finish card, this is the one.
A little. Uncoated paper absorbs more ink, so colors print softer than on gloss or silk, and large solid areas show the weave. Small text and logos stay crisp. If your brand depends on one exact bright color, mention it in your order notes and we will look at it before your proof goes out.
Yes. Ballpoint, fountain pen, pencil and rubber stamps all work on the uncoated surface, and ink dries quickly. It is one of the best papers for appointment cards and handwritten thank-you notes.
Not on this paper. Linen is cut with square corners only, which suits its classic look. For a premium card with rounded corners, look at silk or pearl.
Linen cards start at $78. Larger runs lower the price per card, and adding full color to the back does not change the total.
