Are ultra thick and painted edge business cards the same?
Not exactly. Ultra thick describes the card's thickness. Painted edge cards add a color of your choice along the edges. Ours combine heavy 32pt stock with a black edge, and no other edge colors are offered.
How thick is 32pt?
Points measure thousandths of an inch, so a 32pt card is 0.032 in thick. That is more than double our 14pt standard card, and you notice the difference the moment you pick one up.
Will they fit in a regular card holder?
They are the standard 3.5 x 2 in size, so they fit wallets, sleeves and holders. Because each card is so thick, a holder will take about half as many as it does regular cards.
Can I write on the back?
Yes, if you leave it unprinted. The paper is uncoated, so it takes ballpoint and pencil well, and many people use the back for a handwritten note or a date. Full color on the back costs the same as the front alone.
