How is white plastic different from clear or frosted plastic?
White plastic is opaque: nothing shows through, so it reads like a paper card that happens to be plastic. Clear and frosted let light through. White is also the only plastic we print on both sides, and it costs less than clear.
Can I write on white plastic business cards?
Yes, with a permanent marker, for example to add an appointment time by hand.
Are white plastic business cards waterproof?
The plastic does not absorb water, so the cards hold up to splashes, wet hands and humidity far better than paper. Wipe them dry and they look the same. Strong solvents or scraping can still lift the ink.
Does printing the back cost extra?
A little. White plastic costs less printed on the front only, and the sides menu shows the difference at your quantity. Most of our paper cards print the back at no extra cost.
